Pike Co. oldest bridge located just before the second curve in Omega
and was built to carry the canal across the creek.
"Originally built in 1830-31 by the Ohio Canal Commission to
carry Wilson Run beneath the Ohio-Erie Canal the 180-year old stone arch
bridge is still safely carrying the traffic of SR335.
Andrew Jackson, 7th United states president, was in the White House at
that time. The Ohio Department of Transportation inspects the bridge and
added a concrete wall on the upstream side in 1998." information
