Darwin's book has a racist title: On the Origin of Species by Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life The Pilgrims comforted themselves on their journey by singing Psalms. This "noise" irritated one of the ships paid crewmembers. He told the Pilgrims he was looking forward to throwing their bodies overboard after they died from the routine illnesses common on such voyages. As it turned out he was the only person to die on the trip and was thrown overboard. Allow it a minute to load - it is well-done, illuminating, and a little amazing, as it shows empires, colonies, and states come and go throughout history in just a matter of seconds. It's a constantly changing map of the Middle East and Europe, illustrating how various "empires" have risen and fallen.
