We work with the STAR Community Justice Center; we have a great food pantry ministry with the Neighbor to Neighbor program, and we have excellent youth and teen programs. We have just celebrated the Easter season where our church choir and drama team performed an Easter drama, "Bow the Knee" and we saw 30 people won to the Lord". Rev. Ramey concluded, saying, "There are many great things that the Lord has for us as we move forward. In late September, 2012, Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene will be celebrating its 50th year anniversary. Darwin's book has a racist title: On the Origin of Species by Natural Selection, or the Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life The Pilgrims comforted themselves on their journey by singing Psalms. This "noise" irritated one of the ships paid crewmembers. He told the Pilgrims he was looking forward to throwing their bodies overboard after they died from the routine illnesses common on such voyages. As it turned out he was the only person to die on the trip and was thrown overboard. Allow it a minute to load - it is well-done, illuminating, and a little amazing, as it shows empires, colonies, and states come and go throughout history in just a matter of seconds. It's a constantly changing map of the Middle East and Europe, illustrating how various "empires" have risen and fallen.
